Unless otherwise noted, all of these changes are effective once posted on our site or by direct communication to you.
II. Collection of Data
2.1 Account Information
Visitors can browse our site without providing personal information, but you must be a Member to access most features of our Services. To create an account you must provide data including your full name, email address, and a password.
Once you become a member, you may have the option of providing additional account information, including but not limited to your education, social media profiles, physical address, date of birth, gender, etc. Don’t provide any information you don’t want to share. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and Lumovest has the option to make such information public. Please do not add personal data to your account profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
2.2 Billing Information
If you register for our Paid Services, you will need to provide valid payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal) and billing information.
2.3 User Content
Lumovest may collect and retain any User Content, in whatever format, submitted, posted, contributed, published or distributed on any of our Services by you, including but not limited to all notes, email messages, private messages, questions, answers, comments, posts, Feedback, text, analysis, spreadsheets, pictures, audio, videos and file upload.
Comments or other information posted or contributed by you to any part of our Services designed to be visible to the public or to other Lumovest participants may be viewed and downloaded by others who use or access our Services. Please bear this in mind when you post such comments or other information.
2.4 Service Use (Automatically Collected)
We automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit our Website or otherwise interact with our Services. When you visit the Website, we may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets us help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the site.
A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use our Service (e.g. the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the Services), and allow us to track your usage of the Service over time. We may collect log file information from your browser or mobile device each time you access the Service.
Log file information may include anonymous information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, information about your mobile device, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
We may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons) which are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our Users. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Service. We may also collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Services. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit, your use of third party applications, and other information that assists us in analyzing and improving the Service.
When you access our Services by or through a mobile device, we may receive or collect and store a unique identification numbers associated with your device (“Device ID”), mobile carrier, device type and manufacturer, phone number, and, depending on your mobile device settings, your geographical location data, including GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device.
We may associate information we automatically collect with your other information mentioned above.

We use the data we collect from you to monitor User-specific and aggregate metrics including, but not limited to, total number of visitors, traffic, usage, video interaction, quiz grades, learning progress, Lumovest Achievements and demographic patterns on our Website and our Services.

We use the data we collect, including public feedback, to conduct research and development for the further development of our Services in order to provide you and others with a better, more intuitive and personalized experience.
We use the data and content about Users for marketing purposes, either directly or through third parties. These activities may include interest-based advertising, targeted advertising and online behavioral advertising in order to increase the likelihood that the content would be of interest to you.
We will contact you through email, mobile phone (if provided), and other ways through our Services, such as notifications posted on our Services. We may send you promotional offers from Lumovest or on behalf of other businesses. If you do not want to receive email or other mail from us, you may unsubscribe on these promotional communications. However, note that you are not permitted to unsubscribe or opt-out of non-promotional messages regarding your account, such as account verification, password requests/changes, change or updates to features of the Service, or technical and security notices.

We use the data (which can include your communications) to investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and Service issues (e.g., bugs).

We may share your data with third party vendors, consultants, contractors and other service providers that perform services on our behalf, in order to carry out their work for us, which may include web hosting / development, payment processing, content or service fulfillment, video hosting, accounting, or providing analytics services. will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
Any information or content that you voluntarily submit to the Service, such as User Content, may become available to the public and/or to other Lumovest Users, as controlled by any applicable privacy settings. Additionally, you may have the option to share your activities on our Services with your friends through social media. Lumovest does not have control over your information shared with third party social networks and you should review the policies of those networks before consenting to share information.
4.3 Legal Disclosures
It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you, (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Lumovest, our Users, personnel, or others. We attempt to notify Users about legal demands for their personal data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand.

5.1 Submitting Personal Data
You can always choose not to disclose personal information to us, but keep in mind you must provide your real full name, a valid email address and a password in order to maintain an account and you must provide valid billing information in order to purchase our Paid Services. Certain features of our Services may require additional information in order for you to use. You should not submit any information you don’t want to share.
5.2 Editing Personal Data
For Account Information data that we have about you, you can edit your personal data through your account.
5.3 Deleting Your Account
You may request deletion of your account by contacting Lumovest Support. Please note that the User Content you submitted to our Services may remain in our systems after deletion of your account. We do not control data that other Members copied out of our Services.

The information we collect about you through our Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Lumovest or its subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. Lumovest may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world.
Lumovest cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable safeguards, such as HTTPs, to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Services. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us. There is no guarantee that data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
Lumovest is not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.
VII. Children’s Privacy
7.1 Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for or directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we have obtained information from a child under the age of 13, please email us at support (AT) lumovest (DOT) com. We will delete any such information promptly from our systems.

9.1 EU Residents
